Marriage Celebrant - Vivien Reed same sex ceremonies

Other Ceremonies

As an authorised wedding celebrant I am regularly requested to conduct other celebrations of commitment between two people.
The two most popular occasions are Renewal of Vows and Commitment Ceremonies.

Renewal of Vows

A couple may choose to reaffirm previously made vows.
For example, the marriage may have taken place interstate or overseas and the couple now wish to share a ceremony with family and friends unable to be present at the wedding.
A popular occasion for reaffirmation of vows is a significant wedding anniversary. Readings and poems by children and grandchildren are often a delightful inclusion. These ceremonies are often highly meaningful to the couple, family and friends and truly reflect their binding commitment to each other.
As renewal of vows or reaffirmation of vows are not legal ceremonies, the style and content is entirely up to the couple .
You will receive a Reaffirmation Certificate.
The creation and delivery of a reaffirmation of vows ceremony usually takes 8-12 hours.
Ceremonies begin at $ 550.

Commitment Ceremonies

Commitment ceremonies are for couples who choose to celebrate their union by publicly declaring their promises in the presence of family and friends.
As commitment celebrations are not legally valid the style and content , including any rituals, exchange of rings or readings are the choice of the couple.
You will receive a Certificate of Commitment.
The creation and delivery of a commitment ceremony usually takes 8-12 hours.
Ceremonies begin at $ 600.
