Statistics on NSW marriages in 2019 are fascinating !

Are more people getting married or fewer ? Is the age of couples marrying changing ?

Remember we all thought that the inclusion of same sex marriages would dramatically increase the number of weddings ?

Let’s see what actually has happened…….

Now this may really surprise you !

 Since 2015, there has been a 48% increase in over 65s getting married (increased from 1076 in 2015 to 1595 in 2018)

Since 2015, there has been a 17% increase in the number of people getting married over the age of 80. * Source RBDM NSW
